This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) sets out what you may and may not do when using the GUMO Assistant software, its AI agent, and any related services (the “Service”). It forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, the GUMO Terms and Conditions and our EULA, and is governed by the same law and jurisdiction stated there. The Service is intended for adults only; you must meet the age requirement set out in our Terms.
In short: use GUMO lawfully, do not abuse the AI agent or the Service, respect other people's rights, and always review AI-generated output before you rely on it.
01Prohibited activities
You agree not to use the Service to do, attempt, facilitate, or encourage any of the following:
- break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe anyone's rights;
- generate, request, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or that sexually exploits or endangers minors;
- create, distribute, or assist with malware, exploits, cheats, or tools intended to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to systems, software, games, or data;
- produce assets, code, or other material that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party, or that you do not have the rights to create or use;
- impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- generate spam, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading material.
02Protecting the Service
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or models behind the Service, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with any licensing, entitlement, trial, authentication, rate-limiting, or security mechanism;
- share, resell, or transfer your account, license, or access credentials;
- use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service in a manner that places an unreasonable load on it or that is not part of normal app use; or
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its infrastructure without our prior written permission.
03Third-party providers & your keys
GUMO connects to third-party AI and asset providers using API keys and accounts that you supply. You are responsible for complying with each provider's terms and usage policies, for the security of your keys, and for all activity and costs incurred through them. Misusing those providers through GUMO is a breach of this AUP.
04AI output is your responsibility
- The AI agent can read your project, write and modify files, and generate code and assets. Its output may be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure, or unsuitable for your purpose.
- You must review, test, and validate all generated output before relying on it, committing it, or shipping it. Keep backups and use version control.
- Do not use the Service for fully automated decisions in high-risk contexts without appropriate human review.
- You are solely responsible for the content you create with, and the way you use, the Service.
05Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing access to features, suspending or terminating your account or license, and reporting unlawful activity to the relevant authorities. Termination for an AUP breach does not entitle you to a refund (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).
06Reporting abuse
If you become aware of any use of the Service that violates this AUP, please report it to support@gumodev.io.
07Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, with the “Last updated” date revised. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
